The iPod touch fifth generation saw the light of day in September 2012, simultaneously with the iPhone 5. The 5G iPod touch is the first iPod model with a 4-inch Retina display. This model runs on iOS 6 (with Facebook integration) and is equipped with Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p Full HD video and panorama recording capability and a 1.2-megapixel Face Time front camera with 720p HD video recorder. Also an Apple A5 processor and Siri functionality are available. A new, smaller “Lighting” connector (instead of the 30-pin connector) and the included Apple Earphones (earbobs greatly improved). Simultaneously with the 5G iPod touch, iTunes 11 introduced, which provides better integration with iCloud. The Ping features in this version of iTunes because little success again abolished. The iPod touch 5G comes in black, blue, yellow or red and with 32GB or 64GB memory.
IPod touch 4G
IPod touch from the fourth generation was published in September 2010. This model is in fact the iPhone 4, but without calling. For the rest, this fourth generation iPod touch, however, all the possibilities available to the iPhone 4 also available. Think of a very bright Retina display, Apple A4 processor, iOS 4 operating system with multitasking capability and a camera for HD video with ease.
